Architecture brings life to form. It is a notion inseparable from life, human life, and as such has the capacity to elevate that which gives life its profound value. Human emotions, community, identity, freedom, beauty - some lofty ideals, yet undeniable to our existence.

Architecture is in the world. Whether or not we choose to engage this reality, architecture is saturated in its social, political and temporal milieu; whether or not we choose to engage it, the outcome will live within dynamic, human systems and live beyond the limits of its materiality. Let us then choose to engage if we believe that we are, in some way, responsible for each other.
