Community Hubs Report
The "Community Hubs" research report was commissioned by the Toronto District School Board at a critical moment when a growing number of public schools in Toronto were closing in attempts to redistribute school lands to private developments. An alternative approach to accommodate school board concerns is introduced that has the capacity to benefit students and local communities. The conversion of under-enrolled schools into community hubs with an integrated pedagogical model is explored in further detail.
